The Sisterhood unites the women of our parish to glorify God by building a vibrant community centered on faith, service, and fellowship. We are committed to deepening our spiritual lives together through shared prayer and study. We put our faith into action in different ways, including social outreach, mercy ministries and parish support. We also foster a warm and supportive sisterhood, creating opportunities for joyful fellowship where lasting friendships can flourish.
Under the patronage of Saints Mary and Martha, our Sisterhood unites the women of our parish to glorify God through a harmony of devotion and action. Inspired by Saint Mary, we prioritize our spiritual formation, seeking to choose the "one thing needful" by sitting at the Lord's feet through shared prayer, worship, and study of the Orthodox faith. Following the tireless example of Saint Martha, we joyfully offer ourselves in active service and hospitality, working diligently to care for our church, support our clergy, and meet the needs of our community through mercy ministries, such as our meal train for homebound parishioners and new mothers. Just as their home in Bethany was a place of welcome and rest for our Lord, we strive to cultivate a warm and supportive community through social events that foster deep bonds of friendship and sisterhood in Christ.
